Summer Open Wrestling gym will be July 10th-13th and July 17th-18th. The times will be 9:30-11:00 in the small gym. This is optional but wrestlers are encouraged to attend. We will have a guest coach those 6 days in Mr. Bubba Varela.
Also, wrestling practice will commence during the school year after the football season has ended. Practice will be from 6:45 am until 8:25 am. There will be no "wrestling practice" after school. Only conditioning practice (with Coach Dawson) for 30 minutes for those who did not attend morning practice.
The Boys and Girls Wrestling teams competed in the district 14-5A Wrestling Tournament on Wednesday February 8th at Burger Center. The Boys finished 3rd in the District and Girls finished 4th. This was the 6th year in a row the boys have finished 3rd or better in the District. Crockett qualified 12 wrestlers to the regional championships next week, February 17th and 18th at the Delco Center in Austin.
