David Crockett High School is a comprehensive high school that “Fosters a community of learners and leaders.” Since 2008, Crockett has increased student performance outcomes by implementing social, emotional learning standards and implementing standards-based grading schoolwide. The school philosophy is tied to the concept of 21st century learning by practicing communication, collaboration, creativity and critical thinking. All classes use performance/project based assessment to measure student success and provide supports.
