Crockett High was one of six central Texas schools that was recognized by the Austin Chamber of Commerce having 100% of last year's seniors apply to college. Ms. Camacho received the award on behalf of the staff at the annual State of Education luncheon held on November 9. Dr. Paul Cruz was named "Superintendent of the Year." Michele Kailey Snyder led staff members in the College and Career Center last year to ensure all students are given the opportunity to apply for college and scholarships.
